It is so easy to change the look of a dining room from every day to a formal dinner party. Being a newlywed, I look for reasons to use the gorgeous china and dinnerware our family and friends gave to us. My mom visited Birmingham a few months after the wedding and brought my remaining china. I came home and my mom had set my tablet and I thought it was beautiful. It completely transformed the eat in kitchen to a more formal/traditional dining area.
look at you Martha Stewart! i think we've used our fine china twice. Brian tried to get me to return it all for cash right after our wedding. He's just so practical...
